We have been discussing our feelings and how we express them. The Zones of Regulation were introduced in Kinder, and are used widely throughout our school. An invitation was set our during discovery each morning, to further the discussions about each zone and produce a collaborative art piece. Through discussion the students have been showing progress in ability to identify feelings as well as providing why they feel that way. We will be working on finding and practicing strategies to return to the Green Zone. I love hearing the zones language used throughout the day in the classroom, the hallways and on the playground.
