Until Monday, January 23rd, the Government of Saskatchewan is inviting feedback concerning PreK-12 education in Saskatchewan. This is in response to the Perrins Report, a set of possible recommendations about the future of PreK-12 education in Saskatchewan, which was released on December 21, 2016. Prairie Spirit School Division has produced some speaking points that will be helpful in informing you of some of the issues facing PSSD and how the options in the Perrins Report may affect PSSD. Please read the following attachment:
Once you have had time to review this document, we encourage you to click HERE to give your feedback. The options that face the PreK-12 education system have the potential to alter it in a historic fashion, so make sure your voice is heard! Remember, feedback will be accepted up until Monday, January 23rd.

The Colonsay School SADD Chapter will be doing a “Don’t Get Smashed” fundraiser on Tuesday, November 1 at lunchtime. Students will be able to pay $1 per hit to smash a pumpkin with a baseball bat. This fundraiser is aimed at bringing awareness to the effects of destructive decisions and will ensure students think before they act, thus empowering them to make smart, informed decisions. If anyone has pumpkins (carved or not) that you would be willing to donate to our fundraiser, please drop them off at the school the morning of Tuesday, November 1st.
Thank you for your continued support.

The PAA 20/30 class is looking for donations of old blue jeans in relatively good shape to use in making quilts. If you’ve got any you’d be willing to part with, please drop them off at the school during the first week of November. Thank you!
