Concert Opportunity – May 19th

I am passing along the following information about a fantastic upcoming concert on May 19th at 7:30 pm at the Delisle United Church – “The Men Behind the Music”
The concert is being organized by Delisle & District Arts Council.  Tickets are FREE for students.  Adult tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
Contact Sylvia Chave at 306.493.2955 for more information.

Here is some information from the performer:

“The productions alternate between brief film segments and live music. I perform (on flute) throughout the show with produced accompaniment. It is a historical, educational show about Paris’ history called The Men Behind the Music: An Evening in Paris. The show deals with the real-life, human history of life in the late 1800’s in Paris, focusing on portraying the figures as humans with real lives, faults, struggles, etc. I’ll leave you with two videos: one talking about the series’ concept and the other is a trailer for the show.

This is a great opportunity to see live music for free and also to complete a concert review (Seniors)
