Pre-Kindergarten at Traditions
Traditions Elementary School has a Pre-Kindergarten program for three and four-year-old children (born in 2014 or 2015). Pre-K will begin mid-September of each year. Home visits will be scheduled by Ms. Fedorowich, our Pre-K teacher, and occur prior to the start date. This program will have a maximum of 32 students (16 per class). Classes are held Monday – Thursday. There is a morning class and an afternoon class. Family Days are held on Fridays.
Pre-Kindergarten is a developmentally appropriated educational program based on the Ministry of Education’s Play and Exploration document. The Pre-Kindergarten program is designed for students who require extra support prior to starting school. A child who demonstrates a challenge in the area of social, behavioral, emotional, cognitive or communicative skills will be considered.
The goal of Pre-Kindergarten is to help children achieve their full potential and to succeed in school and in life due to appropriate development opportunities and supports provided for them at an early age.
Traditions Elementary will be accepting applications to our Pre-K program, in May, 2018 for the 2018-2019 school year.
A Pre-K information night will be held at the school on Wednesday, May 30 at 6:00 pm.
Our registration form for Pre-K will be posted once registrations are open.
