Volunteers

Warman Elementary School welcomes volunteers. Whether you wish to volunteer for special events and/or outings, or if  you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis  in the school library, it is important that you become familiar with the Prairie Spirit School Division’s policies and guidelines for volunteering. For a general overview, please read the Information for Volunteers.

All volunteers who are working directly with students in a supervisory role must obtain a Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Verication, from the R.C.M.P.  Once that is completed, and you have read the Prairie Spirit School Division Administrative Policy No. 501, 7 & 8, you are to sign an accompanying  Volunteer Signature Form to confirm you have read the Policy. The signature form is submitted, along with the Disclosure of Criminal Record Information form, to the school in which they you volunteering.

If you are a resident of Warman, you may have a criminal records check done at the Warman RCMP office. To learn more, read How to Obtain a Certified Criminal Record Check.

For information about how to have a criminal records check completed by the Saskatoon City Police, read the guidelines at Criminal Occurrence Security Check.
