Allan School will begin implementing our Prairie Spirit School Division Safe and Secure Protocol where all school perimeter doors are locked after the morning bell and will remain locked during the school day. Parental access to the school during the school day will be through the main entrance door. Should students arrive late to school, they will need to enter the building through the front doors.
Prairie Spirit School Division believes schools provide a safe environment for students and staff, while offering a learning environment that is welcoming to all visitors. However, restricted access to the school comes at the recommendation of the RCMP and better aligns our practices with our partner school divisions in the Saskatoon and Area Community Threat Assessment Support Team (CTAST). The protocol will be fully implemented across all Prairie Spirit Schools.
