Juvenile Diabetes School Walk

The numbers are in!  LAS students, parents and community raised an amazing total of $2761.62!  That means $2209 went directly to research to find the cause and cure of Type 1 Diabetes.  Great job LAS!

From the JDRF:

“In Saskatchewan there are over 85,000 residents directly impacted by Diabetes- and you probably know of a person that is impacted by this devastating disease.  Your fundraising efforts help JDRF strive to find the cause and cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  We are getting closer to a cure and continued contributions from students like you will help the Foundation achieve its ultimate goal.

We are glad that Lord Asquith School is part of the Juvenile Diabetes Team and may we again extend our appreciation to you all for making your JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes a great success.”
