Trey, Dylan and Tanis competed in the first ever SaskWinter Games Snowboarding events over the February break in Prince Albert.  All 3 competed in the slopestyle events on Thursday and Friday as well as the big air event on Saturday.  Both Trey and Dylan threw down some solid runs throughout the 3 days but came up just short of medalling.  Tanis was the big winner for our team, returning with 4 bronze medals for her efforts in slopestyle and big air.

All three individuals should be extremely proud as they were part of a huge event for Saskatchewan athletes and the progression of snowboarding in our province.  The positive attitudes, sportsmanship and all around respect shown from these three throughout the games towards caoches, officials, event staff and fellow athletes did not go unnoticed and will ensure a place for snowboarding in the SaskWinter Games for years to come!
