Congratulations to:

Repertoire for Tour that students should be practicing at home :

  • Skyscapes

*A General Reminder for ALL STUDENTS – Instruments should be taken home from school for home practice and preparation for our concert repertoire and playing assignments. In particular – too many band instruments remind on the shelf in Clavet :*(

Intermediate Band performs at Optimist and gets Silver!

Congratulations to the Intermediate Band who improved on last years performance to gain three silver grades from our three adjudicator. We were also very fortunate to work with Jodi Blackshaw  (Composer of ‘Whirlwind’) on her piece and gain both some real insight on the background of the composition but also some fantastic advice on performance to take forward.

  • All Intermediate Students have been asked to write down Three Things that they gained from the clinic and to bring it to next class.

Thank you again to all students who played with pride and represented their schools commendably on and offstage the entire day. Also to Parents/Guardians who have supported the students and our program. This opportunity is invaluable experience for students to grow as musicians and people while also getting to work with clinicians of the highest caliber and perform on the biggest stage in Saskatchewan. THANK YOU!

More to follow…
