Dear Music Families,

We would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the music we have made together over the last school year. The event will be held at the John Arcand Roof, and will include a BBQ and Bake Sale Fundraiser as well as some informal performances.

The informal performances will include the East and West Song and Guitar Classes, East Rhythm Box Class, Solo and Ensemble Vocal Performances, and some other guest artists.

Please have your music student at the venue by 5:45pm so you can grab a bite to eat, enjoy the informal performances, and be prepared for the formal program to begin at 7:00pm. The formal program will include the East West Jazz Band, West Rhythm Box, Junior Band, Brass Ensemble, East and West Beginners, and our Senior Band. Grade 5 and 6 students are to wear their “Sunday Best”, Grade 7 – 12 are to wear their typical band uniform.

We ask that all Grade 7 – 12 students bring one dozen items for the bake sale. We ask that these items do remain nut free due to allergies.

Please do not hesitate to contact your music teacher if you have any questions. More detailed information to come closer to the date.

Yours musically,

Mr. Will Martin (william.martin@spiritsd.ca) , Mr. AJ Ward (alexander.ward@spiritsd.ca)  and Ms. Shelby Thompson (shelby.thompson@spiritsd.ca)
