Tuesday, May 14th Announcements

Good Morning Mustangs!

Our Grade 6 classes will be hosting a VMS Family Movie Night on Thursday, May 16. Doors will open at 6:30, and “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse” will play on the big screen in the gym starting at 7:00. Admission to the movie is by donation of 1 non-perishable food item per person, which will be donated to the Martensville Free Pantry. A concession will be open, with items such as pop, chips, and candy bags selling for a cost of $1.00 each. Profits from the concession will be used to subsidize the costs of the Grade 6 year-end field trip. As this is a family event, we are asking that all children Grade 4 and younger be accompanied by an adult. Families are welcome to bring blankets, pillows, cushions, or anything else that they might use to make themselves comfortable in the gym. We hope to see you there!

Here is an update on the NBA Playoff Predictor Challenge. We are through Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs, with the Conference Finals starting this week. Through two rounds, the leader of the Playoff Predictor Challenge is Reis from 5K, with 18 points. Reis successfully predicted the winners of each second round series. Tied for second place with 17 points each are Nicko from 7G, and Mr. Garner and Mr. Gartner. Congratulations, everyone, and of course, Go Raptors!
