Principal’s Post It
We have had a great start to the school year. It is always good to see the students return with smiles on their faces and happy to see their friends again. It always surprises me to see how much they have grown over the summer.
We enjoyed a pancake breakfast with the students last week, and are looking forward to Spiritual Emphasis Week (Sept.28-Oct.2) with Adam Driscsoll, our speaker from Briecrest College. Parents and guests are always welcome.
It is good to see our students active once again, as volleyball and soccer teams are practicing and playing games. We also have students competing in junior and senior golf and cross country.
Staff and students are grieving this week with the Martens family at the sudden passing of Teagan (Gr.12) this past Monday. We do not always understand why, nor do we understand God’s plan in our lives, but he assures us that in the coming Kingdom there will be no more pain, suffering, disease, or death. We are told that no eye has ever seen, nor has any ear heard, neither has any man’s mind ever imagined the wonderful things that God has in store for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).
