Principal’s Post It – Sept. 30th

Principal’s Post It

“So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you”                (John 13:14-15).
These verses are posted on the wall of the small gym this week, as it is Spiritual Emphasis Week.  We are very happy to have Adam Driscoll from Briercrest College as our speaker during this week for both elementary and high school students.  He has been an engaging and dynamic speaker who has challenged us as we think about how our relationship with God affects how we see ourselves and interact with others.  Washing one another’s feet is truly a sign of humility and service that is a good reminder of how we should be treating one another.  Although we all fall short of this model of service, we are proud to be collecting nonperishable food items during the course of this week for Farm Credit Canada’s Drive Away Hunger.  We are asking students to bring these items to chapel each day so that they can be collected and then delivered to food banks in Rosthern and Saskatoon.

Thank you for your support as we try to serve others in this small way.
