Principal’s Post-It – June 16

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:6-7).

We have many reasons to both celebrate and give thanks for what the Lord has given us this past school year. Although this is a busy time of year when staff and students are looking forward to summer, it is also a time when we can look back on the accomplishments and progress that staff and students have made. We are excited to celebrate some of these accomplishments at the upcoming awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the big gym, and families are welcome to attend. A week from then we are excited to celebrate with our Grade 12 students and their families at the Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. Another way that we can celebrate the accomplishments of students is through progress reports. Elementary students will receive their progress reports on the last day of school, which is June 28. High school students will pick up their progress reports on Thursday, June 30 from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. If you or your child are not able to pick up progress reports at that time, please make alternate arrangements so that someone else can pick them up for you. We pray that you and your family experience joy and relaxation over the upcoming summer months.
