Educational Programs options: Some parents have inquired about other educational programming besides Home based education that the PSSD offers.

These are the options:

  1. Students may return to the local school during the school year
  2. We offer a program called “learning@home” for grades K-8. Students regularly connect with the teacher for guidance, but their work is self-paced and managed by individual family schedules. The teacher provides the grade appropriate lesson and  the assessments. Parents support the learning but don’t have to find the curriculum.
  3. Spirit elearning is our online school. The next intake start time is January 9th for online classes. Credit classes for grades 10-12, please connect asap if this interest you.

If you are interested in either of these options, please connect with me for more information and the next steps.          lorraine.fitzgerald@spiritsd.ca
