Educational Programs options: Some parents have inquired about other educational programming besides Home based education that the PSSD offers.
These are the options:
- Students may return to the local school during the school year
- We offer a program called “learning@home” for grades K-8. Students regularly connect with the teacher for guidance, but their work is self-paced and managed by individual family schedules. The teacher provides the grade appropriate lesson and the assessments. Parents support the learning but don’t have to find the curriculum.
- Spirit elearning is our online school. The next intake start time is January 9th for online classes. Credit classes for grades 10-12, please connect asap if this interest you.
If you are interested in either of these options, please connect with me for more information and the next steps. lorraine.fitzgerald@spiritsd.ca
