Important Dates: Sept. 27-Oct. 1
We have a number of important dates this week:
Wednesday, Sept. 29 is Orange Shirt Day. We encourage all students and staff to wear an orange shirt in memory of those who attended residential schools. We will take some time that day to reflect on the history and imagine ways that we can actively engage in Reconciliation.
Thursday, Sept. 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be no classes that day.
Friday, Oct. 1 is the WWB Terry Fox Walk. We will be heading out to River Ridge Trails with the entire student body to honor the legacy of Terry Fox and the awareness he raised around cancer research. We are collecting Toonies for Terry all week. Please bring your donations to school and give them to your home room teacher.
