Christmas Spirit Week!
Monday, Dec. 13 – Christmas PJ Day and Decorating at break and lunch
- Students bring decorations for door and, if given permission by homeroom teacher, can decorate their classroom too
Tuesday, Dec. 14 – Christmas Character Day and Christmas Kahoot in Homerooms
- Students will participate in a Christmas themed Kahoot during homeroom.
Wednesday, Dec. 15 – (Ugly) Christmas Sweater Day and Guess How Many Candies
- Mr. Driedger will come around to each class with a Jar of Candy, students will place their guesses for a chance to win them all!
Thursday, Dec. 16 – Christmas Colour Day and Christmas Cards in Period 3
- 6/7 – Green, 8/9 – Red, 10/11/12 – White
- Students will receive the name of another Viking community member will create a card for that person and deliver it by the end of the day Friday.
Friday, Dec. 17 – Formal Day and Pizza Lunch, Hot Chocolate & Activity Afternoon
- SLG will serve hot chocolate starting at 8:30 a.m. when students arrive. Bring your own mug!
- Pizza, pop, and desert will be served for lunch courtesy of our SCC.
- Students can choose from a variety of activities to participate in throughout the afternoon.
**** Of course, Mr. Driedger will continue to start everyday with some laughs during our 12 days of Jokes-mas!
**** We will also be having an SLG carol-off throughout the week, culminating in a staff song on Thursday!
**** Finally, remember to bring non-perishable food items throughout the next two weeks for donation to Prairie Harm Reduction! Let’s collect more that our Dalmeny and Borden rivals combined!
