Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians:

In light of the unprecedented announcement today we will try to provide some clarity to the many questions that we are being asked.

• School will be closing on Friday, March 20th.
• The school will remain open for those families that need time to make arrangements.
• If your child will be away please communicate the absence by phone or by email lakevista@spiritsd.ca up to Thursday, March 19th.
• You will be able to come the school to pick up your child(s) belongings this week.
• We will be making a decision in the next couple of days regarding Progress Reports.
• As more information becomes available it will be communicated through school email.

Please be patient as we sort through the complexities of this unique situation. The school staff will work tirelessly to ensure student safety and foster academic success.

Lake Vista School is now accepting registrations for our 2020-2021 Kindergarten Classes!  If you have a child that will turn five by December 31, 2020 (born in 2015) and you reside in Martensville, please fill out a registration form and submit to lakevista@spiritsd.ca or drop it off in person.  Please include a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

Kindergarten runs full days, 8:58am – 3:10pm (subject to change) either Monday/Wednesdays with some Fridays or Tuesday/Thursdays with some Fridays.

If you would like to request that your child attends specific days, please fill out and submit this form:  Request for specific days.

*Please remember to apply for a birth certificate if you have not already done so, we will need a copy when registering.

Kindergarten Orientation: We will be having two orientations at Lake Vista School on May 7th, 2020 at 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

 June 2019 – You will be emailed notification of your child’s teacher’s name, supply list and the date your child will begin school (Please note that classes for Kindergarten students will begin mid-September as teachers will do home visits and staggered starts during the first two weeks of school).
