We will be holding a Remembrance Day assembly tomorrow (Thursday, November 9th) in our small gymnasium starting at 10:45am.  We would like to invite the families of Lake Vista Public School to join us.

The students will all receive a poppy.  We encourage all parents to send a donation.

The RCMP have recovered a high-end BMX bike.  To claim it, please call them at 306-975-1610.

Wear your favourite jersey to school on Tuesday, November 7th.  We can’t wait to see who everyone cheers for!!

Family Book and Muffin Morning is this Friday, November 3rd from 8:15 to 9:15. Students can bring their parent, guardian, grandparent or other special person to the school and spend some time reading with them.  Muffins (including nut free options) will be available for everyone.  Coffee will be provided, so bring your own mug and fill it up before you sit down to read.  Bring books from home or stop by the school library and choose a book to read. 

November 2nd the SCC will be hosting a Volunteer Information Night. Now that the school year has started, they need volunteers to help with the huge variety of events happening at Lake Vista School.  Stop by between 6:00pm and 7:00pm to learn about the available opportunities at our school and provide the SCC with your thoughts about how you can contribute to our school community. Staff from the Martensville RCMP detachment will be present to help potential volunteers complete the necessary Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks. Be sure to bring two pieces of Government issued identification with you. Coffee and cookies will also be available.

Please get your picture orders in as soon as possible.  They were due October 31st.  We will extend the deadline to Thursday, November 2.
