Remembrance Day Program

We will be having a Remembrance Day Program on Wednesday, Nov 6th in our gymnasium starting at 10:50am. We would like to invite the families of Lake Vista School to join us.

The students will all receive a poppy. We encourage all parents to send a donation.

MON, NOV 4TH – ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Remembrance Day Assembly – Wed, Nov 6th at 10:50am. If you are part of a club like Brownies, Scouts, Cadets etc. please wear your uniform to the assembly.
  2. Picture Retakes – Thur, Nov 7th in the AM. Please bring your photo proofs with you on retake day if you are getting retakes.
  3. No School – Fri, Nov 8th/ Mon, Nov 11/ Tues, Nov 12.

  1. Gr. 5/6 Volleyball – Practice today at 3:15 in the large gym.
  2. Halloween is tomorrow! Students are invited to dress up for the afternoon. Please no gory/weapons at school. Halloween Parade will be at 1:00pm.
  3. Assembly at 11:00am tomorrow.
  4. Gr. 5K – Can Am/Loraas today.
  5. Orff – Meet in Music room for finishing touches on our video with Mrs. Giannios. Please come right at 10:33am.

TUES, OCT 29TH – ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Gr. 7/8 Girls Volleyball – Practice today at 3:15 in the small gym.
  2. Gr. 5/6 Volleyball – Practice tomorrow at 3:15 in the large gym.
  3. Halloween is on Thursday! Students are invited to dress up for the afternoon. Please remember no weapons or gory costumes at school. We will have a Halloween Costume Parade at 1:00pm.
  4. SLT – Meeting today at lunch in the library on the stairs. Bring your lunch.
  5. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for weather conditions. It’s essential that students dress appropriately and bring jackets, toques, scarves, and mitts as necessary. Please make sure students always have sufficient outdoor clothing in the event of an emergency.
